The Sierra snapdragon is a plant that can live for one year (annual) or many years (perennial). It has a stem that stands up straight and is often a bit woody at the bottom. Unlike some other snapdragons, it doesn't climb or cling to things.
Leaves and Flowers
Its leaves are small and pointed. They grow one after another along the tall stem. At the very top of the stem, you'll find many pretty pink or red snapdragon flowers. These flowers are usually between one and two centimeters long. They grow in a cluster called a raceme.
