He threw for 860 yards and ran for 658 yards. He scored 25 touchdowns in total. On defense, he made 20 tackles and caught three interceptions. In his senior year, he gained 2,357 all-purpose yards. He scored 30 touchdowns, including six from returns.

College Football Career

In 2010, Exum played in all 14 games. He started five of them. He played as a free safety and moved around in the team's defense. He made 45 tackles and had nine pass breakups. In 2011, he was recognized as an honorable mention All-ACC safety. He led his team with 89 tackles. He also had 1.5 sacks and one interception. He broke up 10 passes and forced two fumbles.

Moving to Cornerback and Injuries

2014 Season
