Antonio Davon Blakeney (born October 4, 1996) is an American professional basketball player. He currently plays for the Hapoel Tel Aviv team in Israel. This team is part of the Israeli Basketball Premier League and also plays in the EuroCup. Antonio also played college basketball for the LSU Tigers and even spent time in the NBA with the Chicago Bulls.

Early Life and High School Basketball
Antonio Blakeney was born in Watertown, New York. He has two brothers, Tyrieke Blakeney and Dontrez Jones.
Antonio played basketball at Oak Ridge in Orlando, Florida. In his final year, he was amazing on the court. He scored about 29 points per game, grabbed nearly 7 rebounds, and made almost 3 assists.
He earned many top honors in high school. In 2015, he was named a McDonald's All-American. He was also called Florida's Mr. Basketball. Experts rated him as a "5-star recruit," which means he was one of the best young players in the country.
College Career at LSU
Antonio first planned to play for the University of Louisville. However, he changed his mind soon after. He then decided to join Louisiana State University (LSU). At LSU, he studied sports administration.
During his first year at LSU (2015–16), he played in 34 games. He even played alongside future NBA star Ben Simmons. Antonio was the third-highest scorer for LSU that season. He averaged 12.6 points per game. He also made the most three-point shots for his team.
In his second year (2016–17), Antonio became LSU's top scorer. He averaged 17.2 points per game. He also got 4.8 rebounds and 1.7 assists each game. Because of his great performance, he was chosen for the All-SEC Second Team. In April 2017, he decided to leave college early to try for the 2017 NBA draft.
Professional Basketball Journey
Starting with the Chicago Bulls
Antonio Blakeney was not chosen in the 2017 NBA draft. However, he joined the Chicago Bulls for the 2017 NBA Summer League. He played so well there that the Bulls signed him to a special "two-way contract." This meant he could play for both the Bulls and their minor league team, the Windy City Bulls.
He played his first professional game with the Chicago Bulls on October 19, 2017. This game was against the Toronto Raptors. On November 21, 2017, Antonio scored 15 points in just 18 minutes against the Los Angeles Lakers.
Antonio won the NBA G League Rookie of the Year Award for his excellent play with the Windy City Bulls. He averaged an amazing 32.0 points per game there. He also had 6.7 rebounds and 3.9 assists per game.
In July 2018, the Bulls signed him to a full NBA contract. On October 18, 2018, he scored 15 points in the first game of the new season. On November 2, 2018, he scored a career-high 22 points against the Indiana Pacers. The Bulls released him in September 2019.
Playing in China and the G League
After leaving the Bulls, Antonio moved to China. He played for the Jiangsu Dragons in the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) during the 2019–2020 season. He was one of the top scorers in the league, averaging 34.8 points per game. He also had 8.0 rebounds and 3.4 assists.
For the 2020–21 season, Antonio joined the Canton Charge in the G League. He averaged 15.1 points and 4.3 rebounds per game for them.
International Play
In January 2022, Antonio signed with Al-Ahli in the Bahraini Premier League. He quickly made an impact, scoring 32 points in his first game.
Soon after, in March 2022, he signed with Hapoel Be'er Sheva in the Israeli Basketball Premier League. He played four games there, averaging 24.5 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 4.0 assists.
Antonio returned to China for the 2022–23 season, rejoining the Jiangsu Dragons. He was the top scorer in the entire CBA league that season. He averaged 32.1 points per game, along with 7.4 rebounds and 4.8 assists.
For the 2023–24 CBA season, Antonio played for the Nanjing Monkey Kings. On December 29, 2023, he scored an incredible 50 points in one game. This was his fourth time scoring 50 points in a CBA game! He finished the season averaging 30.5 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 4.3 assists.
In October 2024, Antonio signed with Hapoel Tel Aviv in Israel. He now plays for them in both the Israeli Basketball Premier League and the EuroCup.
