Antony Cotton (born Antony Dunn on 5 August 1975) is an English actor and comedian. He is well-known for playing Sean Tully in the TV show Coronation Street. He also played Alexander Perry in the first Queer as Folk series. In 2007, Antony Cotton had his own TV talk show called That Antony Cotton Show. He also won Let's Dance for Comic Relief in March 2013.

Early Life and Education
Antony Cotton was born Antony Dunn in Bury, Greater Manchester, England. His mother, Enid Dunn, is also an actress. Antony went to Woodhey High School in Holcombe Brook. He also studied acting at the Oldham Theatre Workshop. He has an older brother named Andrew.
Acting Career
Antony Cotton has played the character of Sean Tully on Coronation Street since 2003. Sean Tully is a barman and factory worker on the show. Antony's mother, Enid Dunn, also appeared in Coronation Street in different small roles.
Before Coronation Street, Antony played "Alexander" in the original UK TV series Queer as Folk. He also appeared in a few episodes of Absolutely Fabulous as a character named "Damon".
TV Shows and Competitions
In 2007, Antony Cotton won the second series of ITV's Soapstar Superstar. This was a singing competition for actors from soap operas. He gave his prize money, which was £200,000, to the Elton John Aids Foundation.
Later in 2007, Antony hosted his own talk show called That Antony Cotton Show. It was filmed in Manchester with a live audience. The show featured celebrity interviews and funny discussions. However, it only ran for one series and was not brought back.
Antony has also taken part in several other TV shows. In 2008, he appeared on Family Fortunes and won £10,000 for charity. He also played for charity on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? with his co-star Suranne Jones.
In 2011, Antony Cotton was a contestant on the TV show I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!. He spent 21 days in the jungle and finished in fourth place. In 2013, he won Let's Dance for Comic Relief, a dancing competition for charity. He also competed in the 2018 series of Dancing on Ice.
Film and Theatre Work
Antony Cotton has also acted in films. His first film role was in 1998 in Love Is the Devil: Study for a Portrait of Francis Bacon. He acted alongside Daniel Craig and Derek Jacobi in this movie. He also appeared in the 1998 film The Wisdom of Crocodiles.
On stage, Antony has performed in several plays at the Oldham Coliseum. These include The Fifteen Streets. He also appeared in The Hobbit at Manchester's Palace Theatre and Opera House. He has also performed in pantomimes, such as Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs at the Middlesbrough Theatre.
Charity Work
Antony Cotton supports many charities. He is a patron for the Terrence Higgins Trust. He also supports the LGF and The Albert Kennedy Trust. He is also a patron of the 'Queer Up North' festival.
Antony is a big supporter of military charities. He is a patron for Help for Heroes and the Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Families Association (SSAFA). These charities help British Army personnel, veterans, and their families.
