Applied Technology was a company started in Australia in 1975 by a person named Owen Hill. This company was a very important early maker of home computers. These computers used a special operating system called CP/M and a type of computer brain known as a Zilog Z80 microprocessor.
Their most famous computer was the MicroBee, which came out in 1982. The MicroBee was special because it was the very first commercial personal computer made right there in Australia!
