Arabis blepharophylla is a special kind of plant. It's often called coast rock cress or rose rock cress. This plant only grows in California. You can mostly find it in the San Francisco Bay Area. It also grows in the nearby low California Coast Ranges.
What Does Coast Rock Cress Look Like?
This plant grows thin, fuzzy stems. These stems come up from a group of leaves at the bottom. These bottom leaves are also a bit fuzzy. The plant has small, pretty flowers. Each flower has four bright purplish-pink petals.

You don't see Arabis blepharophylla very often in the wild. But it's a popular plant for gardens! People love to grow it because it's attractive. It also has a sweet smell.
