Arapiles is a village and municipality in the province of Salamanca, western Spain, and part of the autonomous community of Castile and León. It is located 8 kilometres (5.0 mi) from the city of Salamanca and has a population of 645 people. The municipality covers an area of 25 km2 (9.7 sq mi).

History
In 1812 there was a battle in the vicinity known as the Battle of Salamanca (Batalla de los Arapiles) fought in the Peninsular War.
