History of Arcadia
Arcadia was started in 1862. It got its name from an old region in Greece called Arcadia.
The first post office in Arcadia opened in June 1867. This helped people send and receive mail. Arcadia was also a stop on the St. Louis–San Francisco Railway, which was a train line.
Geography of Arcadia
Arcadia is located right on the border between Kansas and Missouri. The eastern edge of the city touches the state line.
