Arcadia Bluffs Golf Club is a famous golf course. It is located in Arcadia, Michigan. The club first opened its doors in 1999. It is known for its amazing views of Lake Michigan.
About Arcadia Bluffs Golf Club
This golf club sits on high cliffs, called bluffs. These bluffs are right above the shore of Lake Michigan. The club covers a large area of land. From its highest point, the course drops quite a bit. It ends up about 180 feet above the lake. There are also over 3,000 feet of lakefront views.
The Original Course
The first golf course at Arcadia Bluffs was designed by Warren Henderson and Rick Smith. They wanted the course to look like the famous seaside golf courses in Ireland. This means it has rolling hills and natural, tall grasses. The wind often blows across the course, adding to the challenge.
The South Course
In 2018, a second golf course was added. It is called the South Course. Dana Fry and Jason Straka designed this new course. It was inspired by the work of famous golf course architects. This means it has a unique and classic design.
Arcadia Bluffs Golf Club offers a total of 36 holes across its two courses. Both courses are designed to be challenging and fun for golfers.
