Arrowhead was a professional football player. He played in the National Football League (NFL) during the 1923 season. The NFL is the biggest professional football league in the United States.
Arrowhead joined a special team called the Oorang Indians. This team was based in LaRue, Ohio. What made them unique was that all their players were Native Americans. A famous coach named Jim Thorpe led the team. Arrowhead himself was a member of the Chippewa tribe.
Arrowhead played in only four games during the 1923 season with the Oorang Indians. Even though he played in a few games, he managed to score two touchdowns! A touchdown is when a player carries or catches the ball in the opponent's end zone, earning points for their team.
Key Games and Touchdowns
On November 11, 1923, Arrowhead caught a pass from his coach, Jim Thorpe. This play led to the only score for the Indians in a game they lost 14–7 to the St. Louis All-Stars.
Later that season, on December 2, 1923, Arrowhead scored another touchdown. He caught a 15-yard pass from a teammate named Emmett McLemore. This score happened in a game where the Indians lost 22–19 to the Chicago Cardinals. These two touchdowns show that Arrowhead was an important player for his team.
