Arthur Hobbs (born November 18, 1989) is an American football player. He plays as a defensive back, which means he helps stop the other team from scoring. Arthur currently plays for the Albany Firebirds. This team is part of the Arena Football League (AFL). He has also played for many other teams. These include the San Diego Chargers and the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.

Growing Up and College Years
Arthur Hobbs went to Mount Miguel High School. This school is in Spring Valley, California. After high school, he first went to Grossmont College. Later, he moved to the University of Nebraska at Kearney. He played college football there.
Playing Professional Football
Arthur Hobbs started his professional journey in 2012. He was signed by the San Diego Chargers of the National Football League (NFL). This happened after the 2012 NFL draft. He was released by the Chargers later that year. However, he rejoined their practice squad in December 2012.
Playing in Canada
In 2013, Hobbs signed with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. This team plays in the Canadian Football League (CFL). In his first season, he made 32 tackles and had 2 interceptions. He also made 2 tackles on special teams. The Tiger-Cats played in the championship game that year. He left the Tiger-Cats in May 2014. In 2015, Hobbs signed with another CFL team, the Calgary Stampeders. He was released by them in May 2015.
Playing Arena Football
Hobbs also played in the Arena Football League (AFL). He joined the Orlando Predators in 2014. He played for them for a couple of seasons. In 2017, he was assigned to the Tampa Bay Storm. This team stopped playing in December 2017. In 2018, Hobbs joined the Albany Empire. In 2019, he played for the Atlantic City Blackjacks. Later, in 2021, Hobbs signed with the Albany Empire again. This time, they were part of the National Arena League (NAL). He re-signed with them in November 2021. In 2022, Hobbs signed with the San Antonio Gunslingers of the NAL. He became a free agent at the end of that season. Currently, Arthur Hobbs plays for the Albany Firebirds in the AFL.
