Audition and Wild Card
Ashthon Jones tried out for the tenth season of American Idol. Her audition was in Nashville, Tennessee. She did not get enough votes from the public to move straight into the Top 13.
However, the judges gave her a second chance. She was one of six singers chosen for a "wild card" spot. A wild card means the judges pick someone who didn't get enough votes but they believe deserves to stay. Ashthon sang again and earned her spot in the Top 13.
