The Asian Men's Handball Championship is a major sports event for men's national handball teams. It brings together the best teams from Asia. Since 2018, teams from Oceania have also joined the competition. This exciting tournament happens every two years. It crowns the Asian champions in handball. About the Championship
The first Asian Men's Handball Championship was held in 1977. It has been a regular event since then. The tournament is organized by the Asian Handball Federation (AHF). Teams play in a round-robin style first. This means every team in a group plays against each other. After that, the best teams move on to a knockout stage. In the knockout stage, if a team loses, they are out of the competition. This format makes the championship very exciting.

Qatar is another very strong team. They have won six titles, including the most recent one in 2024. Kuwait has won four times, and Japan has won twice.
