Atsushi Inoue (井上 敦史, Inoue Atsushi, born May 28, 1977) is a Japanese former football player. He played as a goalkeeper.

Atsushi Inoue's Football Journey
Atsushi Inoue was born in Niiza, Japan, on May 28, 1977. He loved football from a young age. After finishing his studies at University of Tsukuba, he began his professional career.
Starting His Career: Consadole Sapporo
In 2000, Atsushi Inoue joined Consadole Sapporo. This team played in the J2 League, which is a professional football league in Japan. Even though he was part of the team, he didn't get to play in any matches. Other goalkeepers like Yohei Sato and Yosuke Fujigaya were chosen to play instead. He stayed with Consadole Sapporo until 2003.
Playing for Yokogawa Musashino
In 2004, Atsushi Inoue moved to a new team called Yokogawa Musashino. This club was in the Japan Football League (JFL). Here, he became the main goalkeeper. He played in many games for three years, from 2004 to 2006.
Time with Gainare Tottori
Atsushi Inoue then joined another JFL club, Gainare Tottori, in 2007. He continued to be a regular player for this team until 2008. However, in 2009 and 2010, he didn't play much. Other goalkeepers, Junnosuke Schneider and Kiyomitsu Kobari, were often chosen over him.
Promoted to J2 League
In 2011, Gainare Tottori was promoted to the J2 League. Atsushi Inoue played in a few matches during 2011 and 2012. He didn't play as much as he used to. At the end of the 2012 season, Atsushi Inoue decided to retire from playing professional football.
