Aubrey Ankrum (born January 6, 1969) is an American writer, animator, and graphic artist. He is most famous for being one of the creators of the popular online cartoon series Happy Tree Friends. He also worked on other shows for a company called Mondo Media and created graphics for many different companies.

Aubrey Ankrum's Career in Animation

As an animator, Aubrey Ankrum worked on many internet shows, especially for the company Mondo Media. He was the creator, director, and main writer for an internet cartoon called The God & Devil Show. While working there, he teamed up with Kenn Navarro and Rhode Montijo on a short cartoon called Banjo Frenzy.

This short cartoon later grew into the very popular series Happy Tree Friends, which became a huge hit online. In Happy Tree Friends, Aubrey provided the voices for two characters: Pop and Flippy. He mainly voiced Flippy's evil side, but also his good side until 2005. He also did robot voices and baby talk for the show.

According to writer Warren Graff, Aubrey has left Happy Tree Friends. However, the show still uses samples of his voice for Evil Flippy and Pop instead of finding a new voice actor. For The God & Devil Show, he also voiced characters like the Croc Hunter, Abe Lincoln, and Kathie Lee Gifford.
