Auburn is a small city in Logan County, Kentucky, in the United States. It's known as a "home rule-class city," which means it has the power to manage its own local affairs. In 2010, about 1,340 people lived there.

Auburn's History
Auburn was first called Federal Grove. Its current name, Auburn, came about in the 1860s. It was named after Auburn, New York, because some of the first people who settled here came from that city.
The city was officially recognized by the state government in 1865. It was then re-recognized in 1878.
