Audencia Business School is a famous French business school. It is located in Nantes, France. This school is special because it has "triple accreditation." This means it has been approved by three big international groups: the Association of MBAs (AMBA), European Quality Improvement System (EQUIS), and the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). Only a very small number of business schools around the world have all three.
Audencia has about 6,100 students. These students come from nearly 90 different countries. They study many different programs. These include bachelor's degrees, master's degrees, and special business courses.
Audencia is often seen as one of the top 12 business schools in France. In 2022, a ranking by the Financial Times placed its Masters in Management program as 47th in the world.

History of Audencia
Audencia started in 1900. It was first called the École Supérieure de Commerce de Nantes. Until 1970, the school was in a building that is now a natural history museum. Then, it moved to a new, larger campus. This new campus is about 23,000 square meters. It is located north of the city center, across from Nantes University.
In 2000, the school changed its name to Audencia Nantes School of Management. The name "Audencia" mixes two Latin words. Audientia means "listening," and audacia means "boldness."
Since 2004, Audencia has worked with the United Nations Global Compact. This is a United Nations plan. It brings together businesses and groups that agree on ten important rules. These rules are about human rights, working conditions, and the environment.
In 2015, the school got its three main accreditations again. These were for the longest time possible, five years. In 2016, the school changed its name again to Audencia Business School. This new name includes programs from other schools like SciencesCom.
In 2017, Audencia became a public-private partnership. This means it gets money from both public and private sources. It is mostly funded by the Chambers of Commerce in Nantes St-Nazaire.
What is a Grande École?
Audencia is known as a Grande école in France. These are special French schools for higher education. They are separate from regular universities. Grandes écoles are very hard to get into. Students must pass a very tough exam. Many people who graduate from these schools get top jobs in France. They are like very famous universities in other countries.
The degrees from Audencia are approved by the Conférence des Grandes Écoles. They are also recognized by the Ministry of National Education (France). Higher education degrees in France have three main levels. These are the Licence (like a Bachelor's degrees), the Master's, and the Doctorat. These levels help students study or work in different countries.
Audencia Business School also has the "triple crown" accreditation. This means it is approved by EQUIS, AACSB, and Association of MBAs (AMBA). Only about 1% of business schools worldwide have all three. As of May 2018, only 89 schools out of 13,670 had this special status.
