Places in Groveland Township
Groveland Township doesn't have any official cities or towns inside it. However, it does have two smaller areas that people live in:
- Austin Corners is located on the southern edge of the township. It's near Dixie Highway and Oakhill Road. This place used to have a post office named after its first postmaster, David Austin Wright, in 1848.
- Groveland Corners used to be called Cottage Corners. You can find it where Dixie Highway and Grange Hall Road meet. After 1922, a clinic was built there, and the area became known as Groveland Corners.

Groveland Township covers a total area of about 36 square miles (about 93 square kilometers). Most of this area, around 35.26 square miles (91.3 square kilometers), is land. The rest, about 0.78 square miles (2 square kilometers), is water.
People of Groveland Township
Based on information from the year 2000, there were 5,476 people living in the township. Most of the people were White (96.7%). A smaller number were African American, Native American, or Asian. About 1.7% of the people were of Hispanic or Latino background.
