The Regionalliga Ost is a football league in Austria. It's one of three leagues that are at the third level of Austrian football. This league is the top league for amateur football teams in Austria. It was brought back in the 1984-1985 season. Teams from three Austrian states play in this league: Burgenland, Lower Austria, and Vienna.
The team that wins the Regionalliga Ost gets a chance to move up. They play against the 9th place team from the Austrian Football First League. If they win, they get promoted to the First League. In the 2010-2011 season, ESV Parndorf won the league. However, they did not win their promotion matches against First Vienna FC. So, they stayed in the Regionalliga Ost.
