Avents Creek is a stream about 7.60 mi (12.23 km) long. It flows into the Cape Fear River in Harnett County, North Carolina. This is the only stream in the United States with the name Avents Creek! The lower part of the creek flows through Raven Rock State Park, a beautiful natural area.

Avents Creek starts in a pond near Duncan, North Carolina. From there, it flows towards the southwest. It eventually joins the Cape Fear River, about 5 miles (8 km) west of Kipling, North Carolina.
