B.T. Brown Reservoir is a large lake built by people, also known as a reservoir. It covers about 300 acres (1.2 square kilometers) in Coweta County, Georgia, in the United States. This special lake helps provide clean drinking water for the community. It's managed by the Coweta County Water & Sewerage Authority.
The reservoir is located at 621 S Alexander Creek Road in Newnan, Georgia. It was built to be a water treatment facility. This means it helps clean water so people can drink it safely. The reservoir was rebuilt in 2006. This project cost about $13 million.
The facility started making drinking water in 2007. It can produce 2 million US gallons (7,570 cubic meters) of water every day. It can even make up to 6 million US gallons (22,712 cubic meters) daily.

Fishing Rules for Residents
- The reservoir opens at 8:00 AM. It closes at sunset or at a time that is posted.
- You must be a resident of Coweta County to fish here.
- You can only fish from a boat.
- Your boat can only use an electric trolling motor or paddles. Boats with gas motors or gas tanks are not allowed.
- You cannot use rubber or vinyl rafts.
- Your boat must be 20 feet (6.1 meters) long or less.
- No gasoline tanks are allowed on the reservoir.

Pavilion Area
The Pavilion area at B.T. Brown Reservoir is a great place to relax. It has three connected shaded areas. These areas have picnic tables where you can eat. There are also restrooms nearby.
Playground and Reservations
The Pavilion area also has swings and several playgrounds for children. This area is open to all Coweta County residents.
