BP Fallon's Journey
BP Fallon started his career at a young age in Ireland. He became known as a radio personality and broadcaster. Later, he moved into music journalism and photography.
Early Career in London
In the late 1960s, BP Fallon moved to London to work as a journalist. In March 1969, he got a big interview with John Lennon during his famous 'bed-in' in Amsterdam. A 'bed-in' was a peaceful protest where John Lennon stayed in bed to promote peace. This interview was published in a music magazine called Melody Maker.
This led to another interview with Lennon and a job at Apple Records. Apple Records was a company started by The Beatles. In 1970, BP Fallon even appeared on Top of the Pops, a popular music TV show. He was seen pretending to play the tambourine during John Lennon's song "Instant Karma!". In another video, he was shown pretending to play the bass guitar.
Working with Famous Bands
After that, BP Fallon became a publicist for famous bands like Thin Lizzy and T. Rex. A publicist helps bands get known and share their music with the world. He even came up with the word "T.Rextasy" to describe how exciting T. Rex's music was.
He also worked and toured with the legendary band Led Zeppelin during their most famous years in the 1970s. Later, during the punk rock era, he worked with musician Ian Dury.

In the 1980s, BP Fallon returned to Irish radio. In 1986, he won an important award called a Jacob's Award for his radio show, The BP Fallon Orchestra, on RTÉ 2fm.
In the early 1990s, BP Fallon toured with the famous band U2. He was their DJ on their Zoo TV Tour. He even wrote a book about his experiences called U2 Faraway So Close. In the 2000s, he continued to DJ on tour with bands like My Bloody Valentine and The Kills.
Music and Albums
In December 2009, BP Fallon released his own song called "Fame#9". He worked on this song with the well-known musician Jack White. This record was special because it was "3-sided," meaning it had two different songs on one side, one for each stereo channel.
BP Fallon later formed his own band called BP Fallon & The Bandits. The band included Aaron Lee Tasjan on guitar, and Nigel Harrison (bass) and Clem Burke (drums), both from the famous band Blondie. In 2013, they released their first album, Still Legal. The album also featured Ian McLagan from the band Small Faces.
In March 2014, he performed at SXSW, a big music festival in Texas. He played with the group Ghost Wolves and The Strypes. They performed the song "Vicious" at a concert remembering musician Lou Reed.
