Discover the Story of Babes in Toyland
The story begins just three days before Christmas! On the Toyland Express train, a friendly conductor named Humpty Dumpty meets two children, Jack and Jill. They are traveling to a magical place called Toyland.
In Toyland, Jack and Jill meet Tom Piper and Mary. Mary manages her late father's toy factory. The children are supposed to live with their uncle, Barnaby Crookedman. Barnaby is a mean man who dislikes toys. He keeps Jack and Jill locked in a tall tower. He also wants to shut down the toy factory. Barnaby even tried to harm Tom by shooting down his hot air balloon over the Goblin Forest!
Barnaby's Nasty Plans
Jack and Jill secretly visit the Toy Factory. The factory has a huge order from Santa Claus for a thousand giant toy soldiers. Jack and Jill offer to help. But Barnaby catches them and takes them back to the tower. He warns them to stay away from the factory.
Soon after, Barnaby hires two sneaky crooks, Gonzargo and Rodrigo. He wants them to ruin the toy factory.
Trouble at the Factory
Jack and Jill sneak out again and go to the factory. Gonzargo and Rodrigo, dressed as sheep, try to break a machine. They drop a monkey wrench into it. Luckily, Jack quickly removes it before the machine can explode.
Jack and Jill suspect the "sheep" are bad guys. They chase them, and Gonzargo and Rodrigo fall into a well. Jack and Jill also tumble down a hill.
Escaping the Goblin Forest
Barnaby catches Jack and Jill again. He orders Gonzargo and Rodrigo to take them to the scary Goblin Forest. There, they meet the mysterious Goblin King. The King tries to eat Gonzargo and Rodrigo!
Mr. Dumpty tells Tom and Mary what happened. They rush to the forest to rescue the children and the crooks. Goblins are weak against light. So, Tom and Mary use a flashlight to scare them away. Everyone escapes safely.
Barnaby then pushes Mr. Dumpty off a bridge to get the factory key. He tries to enter the factory. But Tom, Mary, Jack, Jill, Gonzargo, and Rodrigo stop him. Barnaby has to run away.
The Battle for Toyland
Tom and Mary finish the big toy order. They also realize they like each other a lot! But Barnaby returns, leading the goblins to attack Toyland. The goblins set buildings on fire and try to roast Gonzargo and Rodrigo.
Tom quickly activates the giant toy soldiers. The soldiers bravely fight off the goblins and put out the fires. Toyland is saved!
Barnaby insults the Goblin King, who tries to attack him. But Jack, Jill, and the toy soldiers shine lights on the King, destroying him. Barnaby calls the King a "pathetic ogre". The other goblins get angry and chase Barnaby out of Toyland.
Christmas Day in Toyland
Finally, Christmas arrives! Tom has fixed Mr. Dumpty. Santa Claus magically shrinks the toy soldiers into action figures. He puts them in his bag.
Santa notices Barnaby's cat, Scat, who is now homeless. He picks her up and pets her. Jill asks if she can have Scat, and Santa agrees. Then, Santa continues his journey.
In the end, Jack and Jill find a new loving home. Tom and Mary adopt them, and they all live happily in Toyland.
