Bacarri Jamon Rambo (born June 27, 1990) is a former American football player. He played as a safety in the National Football League (NFL). A safety is a defensive player who helps stop long passes and runs by the other team.

Rambo played college football for the Georgia Bulldogs. He was so good that he was named an "All-American" in 2011. This means he was recognized as one of the very best college players in the country! After college, the Washington Redskins picked him in the 2013 NFL Draft.

Bacarri Rambo played college football at the University of Georgia. He was a very important player for the Georgia Bulldogs team. In 2011, during his junior year, he received a special award. He was named an All-American by Scout.com. This award shows he was one of the top college football players in the whole country.

Bacarri Rambo in the NFL

Bacarri Rambo started his professional football career in 2013. He played for a few different teams in the NFL.

Playing for the Washington Redskins

The Washington Redskins chose Rambo in the sixth round of the 2013 NFL draft. He was the 191st player picked overall. He signed a four-year contract with the team.

At the start of his first season, Rambo was named the starting free safety. However, after a couple of games, he lost his starting spot. He returned to play later in the season. As a rookie, he made 43 total tackles and had one sack. The Redskins later released him in 2014.

Playing for the Buffalo Bills (First Time)

Rambo joined the Buffalo Bills in November 2014. He quickly made a big difference for the team. In December 2014, he caught two interceptions against Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers. He played in six games for the Bills that season.

In 2015, Rambo had an amazing game against the New York Jets. He forced two fumbles, which means he knocked the ball loose from the opponent. One of his forced fumbles even led to a touchdown for his team! He also made a game-winning interception with less than a minute left to play. Because of his awesome performance, he was named the AFC Defensive Player of the Week. That season, he played in 15 games and started eight. He recorded 62 total tackles, one interception, and two forced fumbles.

Playing for the Miami Dolphins

In October 2016, Rambo signed with the Miami Dolphins. He continued to play well for them. In a game against the Arizona Cardinals, he caught his fourth career interception. He played in nine games for the Dolphins and started five. He finished the season with 42 total tackles and one interception.

Playing for the Buffalo Bills (Second Time)

Bacarri Rambo signed with the Buffalo Bills again in July 2017. However, he was released by the team in August of that same year.
