Badesi (which is Badèsi in the local Gallurese language) is a small town in Italy. It's known as a comune (say: koh-MOO-nay), which is like a municipality or local government area. Badesi is located in the Province of Sassari on the beautiful island of Sardinia.
This town is about 200 kilometers (124 miles) north of Cagliari, which is the capital city of Sardinia. It's also about 50 kilometers (31 miles) west of Olbia, another important city on the island. In December 2004, Badesi had about 1,860 people living there. The total area of the town is about 30.7 square kilometers (11.9 square miles).
Badesi shares its borders with a few other towns. These include Trinità d'Agultu e Vignola, Valledoria, and Viddalba.
