Badr Benoun, also known as "Sultan", is a professional footballer from Morocco. He was born on September 30, 1993. Badr plays as a centre-back, which is a defensive position in football. He currently plays for Qatar SC in the Qatar Stars League and is also a member of the Morocco national football team. He began his football journey with Raja CA.

Club Football Journey
Badr Benoun started his football career at Raja Club Athletic. He won his first trophy with the club in 2013. This was when Raja CA finished first in the 2012–13 Botola league.
To get more experience, Badr was loaned out to Wydad de Fès. He played 16 games there. After that, he was loaned again to RS Berkane. In 2015, he returned to his home club, Raja CA.
Playing for Raja CA
When Benoun returned to Raja CA, fans were very excited. He helped the team win another trophy in 2017. They won the 2017 Moroccan Throne Cup by beating Difaâ Hassani El Jadidi. Badr even scored a penalty in that final match.
Big Wins with Raja CA (2018–2020)
In 2018, Raja CA played in the 2018 CAF Confederation Cup. This is a big African club competition. Raja did very well, topping their group and reaching the final. They won the cup, which was a huge achievement!
Winning the Confederation Cup meant Raja CA got to play in the 2019 CAF Super Cup. They faced Espérance Sportive de Tunis in Doha. Badr Benoun scored a goal in the 64th minute, helping his team win this important cup too. He also won the 2019–20 Botola league and the 2019–20 Arab Club Champions Cup. After five successful seasons with Raja CA, he moved to Al Ahly.
Time with Al Ahly
In November 2020, Badr joined Al Ahly, a famous club in Egypt. He played for them in the FIFA Club World Cup. His team won the bronze medal in this worldwide tournament, beating a Brazilian team called Palmeiras.
With Al Ahly, Badr also won several other important trophies. These included the 2020 Egypt Cup, the 2021 CAF Champions League, and two CAF Super Cup titles in 2020 and 2021. One of these Super Cup wins was against his old team, Raja CA.
Moving to Qatar SC
In July 2022, Badr Benoun signed a three-year contract with Qatar SC. This club is based in Qatar.
International Career for Morocco
Badr Benoun has also played for his country, Morocco. In 2013, he won a gold medal at the 2013 Islamic Solidarity Games. Morocco beat Indonesia 2–1 in the final match.
He made his first appearance for the main Morocco national team on October 7, 2017. This was during a World Cup qualification game against Gabon. Morocco won that match 3–0.
In May 2018, Badr was chosen to be part of Morocco's squad for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia. This is a very big honor for any footballer.
Later, in November 2022, he was again selected for Morocco's team. This time, it was for the 2022 FIFA World Cup held in Qatar.
