Baker is a small community in southeastern White Pine County, Nevada, United States. It is known as a census-designated place, which is a special area defined by the government for gathering population data.
Baker is located about 5 miles (8 km) east of the main entrance to Great Basin National Park. You can find it where State Routes 487 and 488 meet. The town was named after an early settler, George W. Baker. In 2020, about 41 people lived here.
