Bakhtiar Rahmani (Persian: بختیار رحمانی; born on September 23, 1991) is an Iranian Kurdish footballer. He plays as an Attacking Midfielder.

Early Life and Football Start

Bakhtiar Rahmani was born in a city called Sarpol-e Zahab in Iran. He started playing football at a young age. He joined the Foolad Youth Academy in 2005.

Club Career Highlights

Bakhtiar Rahmani has played for many different football clubs throughout his career. He is known for his skills as an attacking midfielder.

Playing for Foolad

Rahmani spent a big part of his early career playing for Foolad. He even became the team captain when he was only 20 years old. This was a big achievement for someone so young! He helped Foolad win their second championship in the 2013–14 season. During that season, he scored five goals and helped his teammates score seven times in 28 games.

Moving to Other Clubs

After his time at Foolad, Rahmani played for several other teams. In 2015, he joined Tractor. Later, in 2016, he moved to Esteghlal. He also played for Paykan and Zob Ahan in 2017 and 2018. He then joined Sepahan in 2018.

In 2019, Rahmani played for Al-Shamal and Sanat Naft Abadan. He later moved to Sabail in 2020 and then to Dalkurd in 2021. He also had a loan spell at Duhok in 2021.

International Football Journey

Bakhtiar Rahmani has represented Iran in football at many different age levels.

Youth National Teams

He first played for the Iran national under-15 football team in 2004. He continued to play for the Iran national under-17 and under-20 teams. He was even the captain of the Iran national under-23 football team.

Senior National Team

In 2013, Rahmani was called up to play for the main Iran national football team. He played his first game against Oman in May 2013. He was also chosen to be part of Iran's team for the 2014 FIFA World Cup. Although he was on the team, he did not get to play in any of the matches.
