Bakhtiar Rahmani is an Iranian Kurdish footballer who was born on September 23, 1991. He plays as an Attacking Midfielder. Currently, he plays for the Swedish club Dalkurd.

Bakhtiar Rahmani was born in a place called Sarpol-e Zahab in Iran. He started playing football at a young age and quickly showed great talent.

His Football Journey

Playing for Foolad

Bakhtiar Rahmani spent many years playing for Foolad. He even became the team's captain when he was only 20 years old! This was a big responsibility, and he helped his team finish in fourth place. In the 2013–14 season, he helped Foolad win their second championship title. He scored five goals and made seven assists in 28 matches that season.

Moving to Other Clubs

After his time at Foolad, Rahmani played for several other clubs.

  • In 2015, he joined Tractor for two years.
  • Then, in 2016, he moved to Esteghlal.
  • Later, he played for Zob Ahan in 2017.
  • He also played for Paykan and Sepahan.
  • In 2019, he played for Al-Shamal and Sanat Naft Abadan.
  • From 2020 to 2021, he played for Sabail.
  • Since 2021, he has been playing for Dalkurd in Sweden.

Playing for His Country: Iran

Youth National Teams

Bakhtiar Rahmani played for Iran's national football teams at many different age levels.

  • He first joined the Iran U15 team in 2004.
  • He also played for the Iran U17 and Iran U20 teams.
  • He was even the captain of the Iran U23 team.

Senior National Team

In 2013, Rahmani was called up to play for the main Iran national team. He played his first game against Oman. In 2014, he was chosen to be part of Iran's team for the 2014 FIFA World Cup. Even though he didn't get to play in the matches, it was a huge honor to be part of the squad!
