A Look Back: Baltic's History
How Baltic Began
Baltic was first known by a different name, Rowville. The village was officially planned out in 1848. This means its streets and building lots were carefully laid out on a map.
Becoming a Tree City
In 1982, Baltic earned a special recognition. It became a "Tree City USA," as recognized by the National Arbor Day Foundation. This award shows that the village works hard to care for its trees and green spaces.
