Banks is a small community located along the Payette River in Boise County, Idaho, United States. It is about 12 miles north of Horseshoe Bend on Idaho State Highway 55.

Rivers and Recreation
The North and South forks of the Payette River meet right at Banks. This makes it a very popular spot for water sports. Many people come here for rafting and kayaking.
The "Main" part of the Payette River starts at Banks. It flows alongside Highway 55 down to Horseshoe Bend. Another exciting river section, called "Staircase" on the South Fork, also finishes at Banks.
