Barron Miles is an American football coach and a former player. He was born on January 1, 1972. He played as a defensive back for 12 years in the Canadian Football League (CFL).
Barron Miles is famous for his amazing records. He is tied for second place in CFL history with 66 interceptions. He also holds the record for the most blocked kicks with 13. In 2018, he was honored by being inducted into the Canadian Football Hall of Fame.

Early Life and High School Football
Barron Miles grew up in Roselle, New Jersey. He started playing football in high school at Abraham Clark High School. He was a talented player, playing both offense and defense for his team.
College Football Career
Barron Miles played college football at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. He was one of the best cornerbacks and special teams players in the school's history.
- National Champion: In 1994, he helped his team, the Nebraska Cornhuskers, win the NCAA college football national championship. This was a huge win for the team and their coach, Tom Osborne.

Time with the Montreal Alouettes
Miles joined the Montreal Alouettes in 1998. He quickly made a big impression.

Defensive Coordinator Roles
- Montreal Alouettes: In 2021, Miles was named the defensive coordinator for the Montreal Alouettes. He continued in this role at the start of the 2022 season but left the team in July 2022.
- Bishop's Gaiters: In August 2022, he became the defensive coordinator for the Bishop's Gaiters.
- Ottawa Redblacks: On December 5, 2022, Miles was hired as the defensive coordinator for the Ottawa Redblacks. He held this position for two seasons, leaving the team in November 2024.

On December 16, 2024, Barron Miles was named the defensive backs coach for the Calgary Stampeders.
