Bartonsville is a small, unincorporated community in Frederick County, Virginia. It is located along Opequon Creek. You can find Bartonsville between the cities of Winchester and Stephens City. The community is on Springdale Road (SR 649), which is west of Valley Pike (US 11).

What is Bartonsville's History?

Bartonsville has had a few different names over time. People used to call it Barton's Mill or simply Bartonville. The very first settlers in this area were the Hite Family. They arrived and began living here in the year 1733.
