Beals is a small town in Washington County, Maine, United States. It is located on an island right across from Jonesport. The town was named after Manwarren Beal, who was one of the first people to settle there. In 2020, about 443 people lived in Beals.

Beals is mostly water! Out of its total area of about 48 square miles (125 square kilometers), only about 5.6 square miles (14.5 square kilometers) is land. The rest is water.
The main part of Beals is on Beals Island. A bridge connects Beals Island to West Jonesport on the mainland. There's also a short bridge that connects Beals Island to Great Wass Island. Great Wass Island is also part of the town of Beals. It is home to the Great Wass Island Preserve, a special natural area.
