Beaver is a small city in Boone County, Iowa, United States. It is located within Amaqua Township. In 2020, about 46 people lived there. Beaver is part of the larger area around Boone, Iowa. This area is sometimes called the Boone Micropolitan Statistical Area.

History of Beaver
Beaver was officially started in 1879. The city got its name from a nearby stream called Beaver Creek. Many years later, in 1911, Beaver became an incorporated city. This means it got its own local government.
