Beavercreek is a city located in Greene County, Ohio, United States. In 2020, about 46,549 people lived here. This makes it the biggest city in Greene County. It is also the second-largest suburb of Dayton.
People first settled in the Beavercreek area in the early 1800s. A part of Beavercreek Township officially became the City of Beavercreek in February 1980. Many people who live in Beavercreek work at the nearby Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. In 2007, Money magazine said Beavercreek was one of the top 100 best places to live.

Beavercreek is located about five miles east of downtown Dayton. The city covers about 26 square miles (68 square kilometers). Most of this area is land, with a very small amount of water.
Beavercreek includes several smaller areas that used to be separate communities. These include Alpha, Knollwood, and parts of New Germany and Zimmerman.

Beavercreek Station is an important spot on the Creekside Trail. This trail is a bike path that goes from Xenia all the way to Eastwood MetroPark in Dayton. It's perfect for biking or walking.

The Beavercreek City School District has many schools. It includes six elementary schools, two middle schools, a separate campus for ninth graders, and one high school.
Beavercreek also has a public library. It is a part of the Greene County Public Library system.

The Greater Dayton Regional Transit Authority provides bus service in Beavercreek. This helps people travel around the city without a car.
