Part of the University of Missouri–St. Louis campus is located within Bel-Nor. This is a large university where students go to college. Bel-Nor is also home to Incarnate Word Academy, which is a school.
Normandie Golf Club
Near Bel-Nor is the Normandie Golf Club. It claims to be the oldest public golf course west of the Mississippi River. It first opened in 1901.
In 2006, people living in Bel-Nor went to court to stop a plan to build houses on the golf course. They succeeded, and the course will stay open. It is even getting updated in late 2023.
