Bend is a small community in Tehama County, California, United States. It's known as a census-designated place, which means it's a special area counted by the government for population.

Bend is located right on the Sacramento River, about 6 miles (10 km) north-northeast of Red Bluff. The community got its name because of a natural curve, or "bend," in the Sacramento River nearby.

It used to have a post office that operated from 1897 to 1935. The area was first called Horsethief Bend, then Sander's Bend, before finally being shortened to just Bend.

According to the United States Census Bureau, Bend covers an area of about 3.1 square miles (8.2 square kilometers). Most of this area, about 2.9 square miles (7.6 square kilometers), is land. The rest, about 0.3 square miles (0.7 square kilometers), is water, making up about 8% of its total area.
