Bernard L. "Bernie" Lieder (born February 19, 1923 – died August 23, 2020) was an American politician. He was a member of the Minnesota House of Representatives. This is like being a lawmaker for the state of Minnesota. He represented a part of Minnesota called District 1B. This area included parts of Marshall, Pennington, Polk, and Red Lake counties in the northwestern part of the state.

Bernie Lieder went to college to study engineering. He attended Purdue University and the University of Illinois.

Bernie also served in the U.S. Army. He was a soldier during and after World War II. He served from 1943 to 1946. During his time in the Army, he was stationed in France, Belgium, Holland, and Germany.
