The Berry Creek Rancheria of Tyme Maidu Indians is a Native American tribe. They live in a part of northeastern California, near a place called Lassen Peak.

They are a Maidu tribe that the United States government officially recognizes. Their main office is in Oroville, which is in Butte County. Their special land, called a reservation, is about 65 acres big. This land is split into two separate areas. One part is near Oroville in a community called Oroville East. The other part is close to the town of Berry Creek, not far from the Feather River. The tribe has 304 members, and 136 of them live on the reservation.

Learning and Schools

Kids living on the Berry Creek Rancheria go to schools in two different districts. These are the Pioneer Union Elementary School District for younger students and the Oroville Union High School District for older students.
