Beth Grant (born September 18, 1949) is an American actress. She is known for playing many different kinds of characters in movies and TV shows. From 2012 to 2017, she was a regular on the TV comedy The Mindy Project. She also played Gracie Leigh in the TV drama Jericho and Marianne Marie Beetle in Wonderfalls. You might have also seen her in shows like Pushing Daisies and Mockingbird Lane.
In movies, Beth Grant is famous for her roles in films like Rain Man (1988), Child's Play 2 (1990), and Speed (1994). She also appeared in Donnie Darko (2001), Little Miss Sunshine (2006), and No Country for Old Men (2007). She was even in the Oscar-winning movie The Artist (2011). More recently, she played "The Woman with Hair but No Beard" in Netflix's A Series of Unfortunate Events. She was also the Cat Lady in Hulu's Dollface.

Beth Grant was born on September 18, 1949, in Gadsden, Alabama. She grew up in Wilmington, North Carolina. She finished high school at New Hanover High School in 1967. Her father worked with poultry, and her mother managed an employment office. Her mom was also an activist who worked for equal rights for everyone. Beth says her mother inspired her to become an actress.
In 1973, Beth graduated from East Carolina University. She earned a degree in Acting and Directing. After that, she moved to New York City to start her acting career.

Beth Grant has been in many movies. Some of these films even won the Oscar for Best Picture! These include Rain Man, Speed, and No Country for Old Men. She has also appeared in movies like Donnie Darko, Little Miss Sunshine, and The Artist.
She has also acted in many popular TV shows. These include Friends, The X-Files, CSI, Malcolm in the Middle, and The Office. She played the same character, Marianne Marie Beetle, in two shows created by Bryan Fuller: Wonderfalls and Pushing Daisies. She also played a similar character named "Marie" in Mockingbird Lane.
Beth Grant is also writing a Broadway musical. It is set in 1969 in Greenwich Village, New York City.

Beth Grant married actor Michael Chieffo in 1984 or 1985. They have one daughter together, who is also an actress named Mary Chieffo. Beth lives with her family in Los Angeles.
