Beulah Beach started in 1921. It began as a meeting spot for a group called the Bible and Missionary Conference. This group is still part of the area's activities today.
The community is home to the Beulah Beach Camp and Retreat Center. This center offers summer camps and a place for groups to meet. It is connected with a Christian church group called The Christian and Missionary Alliance. The center is also a member of the Christian Camp and Conference Association.
