Bianca Lawson, born on March 20, 1979, is an American actress. She is well-known for her roles in many TV shows. These include Saved by the Bell: The New Class, Goode Behavior, Pretty Little Liars, and Rogue. She has also appeared in popular series like Sister, Sister, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, The Vampire Diaries, and Teen Wolf. Since 2016, Bianca has starred in the drama series Queen Sugar.

Bianca Lawson's Early Life and Family
Bianca Lawson was born in Los Angeles, California, on March 20, 1979. Her mother is Denise Gordy, and her father is actor Richard Lawson. This means she is the stepdaughter of Richard Lawson's former wife, Tina Knowles. She is also the former stepsister of famous singers Beyoncé and Solange Knowles. Bianca is also the grand-niece of Motown founder Berry Gordy.
Bianca went to the Stella Adler Studio of Acting to learn about acting. She also graduated from Marymount High School, a Catholic school in Los Angeles. After high school, she studied film and psychology at the University of Southern California. Bianca's parents are both African-American. She also has Italian, Native American, Portuguese, and Creole family roots.

Bianca Lawson started acting when she was just nine years old. Her first jobs were in TV commercials for brands like Barbie and Revlon.
Early TV Roles
In 1993, Bianca got a regular role in the TV series Saved by the Bell: The New Class. She played a character named Megan Jones. She also appeared in several episodes of other popular shows. These included Sister, Sister as Rhonda Coley and The Steve Harvey Show as Rosalind.
In 1996, she co-starred in the sitcom Goode Behavior. In this show, she played Bianca Goode, a teenage daughter. The show ran for one season. In 1997, she appeared in Buffy the Vampire Slayer as Kendra Young, a vampire slayer. In 1999, she joined Dawson's Creek as Nikki Green.
Later TV and Film Work
In 2009, Bianca was cast as Shawna in The Secret Life of the American Teenager. That same year, she played Emily Bennett, a witch, in The Vampire Diaries. In December 2009, she got the role of Maya St. Germain in Pretty Little Liars. This show was based on a popular book series. She was on the show from June 2010 to August 2012.
Since 2012, she has had a recurring role as Ms. Morell in the TV series Teen Wolf. In 2014, Bianca also played Eva in Witches of East End. In 2015, she became a regular cast member in season three of Rogue, playing Talia Freeman.
Bianca has also appeared in TV miniseries. In 1998, she played Diana Ross in The Temptations. In 2001, she was Anna Bella Monroe in The Feast of All Saints. Her movie roles include Primary Colors (1998), Save the Last Dance (2001), and Bones (2001). In 2011, she even lent her voice to the video game Star Wars: The Old Republic.
