Big Sycamore Canyon facts for kids
Big Sycamore Canyon, often called Sycamore Canyon, is a really important part of Point Mugu State Park in Ventura County, California. It's located in the northern area of the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area. This canyon sits below the tall peaks of the Boney Mountain State Wilderness Area, which are about 3,000 feet high.
The canyon starts on the north side of Boney Mountain and goes downhill towards the north. Then, it turns southwest, passing by a place called Rancho Sierra Vista/Satwiwa, until it reaches Sycamore Cove right on the coast.
