Bit-O-Honey facts for kids
Bit-O-Honey is a popular American candy that first came out in 1928. It was created by the Schutter-Johnson Company in Chicago, Illinois. Bit-O-Honey was special because it was a new type of candy bar. It had six pieces wrapped in waxed paper, all inside a colorful outer wrapper.
This chewy candy is made with almond bits mixed into a sweet, honey-flavored taffy. This makes it a candy you can chew for a long time! You can find Bit-O-Honey as a large bar or as smaller, bite-sized pieces sold in bags.
