Blackberry City is a small place in Mingo County, West Virginia, United States. It is known as an unincorporated community. This means it's a group of homes or buildings that isn't officially a town or city with its own local government. Instead, it's part of the larger county.
Blackberry City is located right next to the Tug Fork river. It is also found along West Virginia Route 49. This community is about 0.75 miles (1.2 kilometers) south of a place called Matewan.
