Blake Christopher Heron (born January 11, 1982 – died September 8, 2017) was an American actor. He was best known for playing Marty Preston in the 1996 movie Shiloh.
Early Life and Acting Start
Blake Heron was born in Rockville Centre, New York, on January 11, 1982. After his parents separated, he moved with his mother. They lived in Atlanta, then New York City, and finally settled in Burbank, California. It was there that Blake began his acting journey.
His Acting Journey
Blake started his acting career in 1995. His first movie was the Disney film Tom and Huck. He also appeared in the TV series Reality Check. When that show ended, Blake acted in several TV movies, including Trilogy of Terror II in 1996.
One of his biggest roles when he was 14 years old was in Nick Freno: Licensed Teacher (1996). He played a character named Jordan. In 1997, he got the main role of Marty Preston in the Warner Bros. movie Shiloh. This movie became very popular and is what many people remember him for.
After finishing high school in 2000, Blake started taking on more grown-up roles. He appeared in the HBO movie Cheaters (2000) and another film called Blast (2000). He also had parts in popular TV shows like Boston Public (2000), Family Law (1999), and The Guardian. In 2002, he played Specialist Galen Bungum in the movie We Were Soldiers. He also appeared in Dandelion (2004). His last movie role was in A Thousand Junkies, which was shown at the 2017 Tribeca Film Festival.

Blake Heron passed away on September 8, 2017, at the age of 35.
