Blandville is a small, inactive city in Ballard County, Kentucky, in the United States. It was started in 1842. The city was named after Captain Bland Ballard, a hero from the War of 1812.
Blandville officially became a city in 1845. It was the main town (county seat) for Ballard County from 1842 to 1881. After that, the county seat moved to Wickliffe. In 2020, only 73 people lived there. Blandville is part of the larger Paducah, KY-IL area.

Blandville is in western Kentucky. It is close to the southern edge of Ballard County.
It's about 8 miles (13 km) east of Wickliffe, which is the main town of the county now. Blandville is also about 13 miles (21 km) east of where the Ohio and Mississippi rivers meet. This meeting point is near Cairo, Illinois.
