Discovering Blue Job Mountain
Blue Job Mountain is found in Strafford County, New Hampshire. It stands about 1,357 feet (414 meters) tall. This makes it a perfect spot for a day trip or a quick adventure.
What is a Fire Tower?
At the very top, or summit, of Blue Job Mountain, there is a special building called a fire tower. These towers were built a long time ago. People would sit in them to look for forest fires. If they saw smoke, they could quickly tell firefighters where the fire was. This helped protect the forests and nearby towns.
Today, many fire towers are still standing. Some, like the one on Blue Job Mountain, are open for visitors to climb. From the top, you can see far and wide! It's a fantastic way to get a bird's-eye view of the surrounding area.
