Discovering Blue Job Mountain

Blue Job Mountain is found in Strafford County, New Hampshire. It stands about 1,357 feet (414 meters) tall. This makes it a perfect spot for a day trip or a quick adventure.

What is a Fire Tower?

At the very top, or summit, of Blue Job Mountain, there is a special building called a fire tower. These towers were built a long time ago. People would sit in them to look for forest fires. If they saw smoke, they could quickly tell firefighters where the fire was. This helped protect the forests and nearby towns.

Today, many fire towers are still standing. Some, like the one on Blue Job Mountain, are open for visitors to climb. From the top, you can see far and wide! It's a fantastic way to get a bird's-eye view of the surrounding area.

Hiking Trails

Blue Job Mountain has many trails that wind through the trees. These trails are great for hikers of all skill levels. You can take a short, easy walk or a longer, more challenging hike.

Most people start their hike from First Crown Point Road. This road is in a nearby town called Strafford. The trails are well-marked, making it easy to find your way. Remember to wear good shoes and bring water!
