Robert Thomas Giggie (born August 13, 1933 – died December 9, 2018) was an American baseball player. He was a pitcher in Major League Baseball (MLB). Bob Giggie played in 30 games, mostly as a relief pitcher, for two teams. He played for the Milwaukee Braves in 1959 and 1960. He also played for the Kansas City Athletics in 1960 and 1962. Bob was 6 feet, 1 inch tall and weighed 200 pounds. He threw and batted with his right hand.

Early Life and Start in Baseball
Bob Giggie grew up in Dorchester, Massachusetts. He went to Charlestown High School. After high school, he started his baseball career. On July 5, 1951, his hometown team, the Boston Braves, signed him as a young player.
Playing in the Minor Leagues
Before playing in the big leagues, Bob spent time in the minor leagues. These are teams that help players get ready for Major League Baseball. His best season in the minors was with the Hagerstown Braves. This team was in a league called the Class B Interstate League.
In that great season, Bob won 18 games and only lost 7. His earned run average (ERA) was 2.82, which is very good for a pitcher. He pitched a total of 214 innings.
Major League Career
Bob Giggie played 16 games for the Milwaukee Braves in 1959 and 1960. On May 11, 1960, he was traded to the Kansas City Athletics. This meant he switched teams. He then played 14 more games for the Athletics in 1960 and 1962.
In his time in Major League Baseball, Bob had a record of 3 wins and 1 loss. His earned run average (ERA) was 5.18. He pitched a total of 57 and one-third innings.
