Robert LeRoy Diamond (born August 23, 1943 – died May 15, 2019) was an American actor. He was famous in the 1950s and 1960s, especially for his role as a child star. Later in his life, he became a lawyer. He is best known for playing the main child character in the TV show Fury.

Bobby Diamond's Early Life and Acting Career
Bobby Diamond was born in Los Angeles, California, in 1943. His mother encouraged him and his brother to get into acting. He started with small parts in movies in the early 1950s. His first movie was The Greatest Show on Earth in 1952.
Starring in Fury
In 1955, Bobby got a big role in the TV series Fury. He played Joey Newton, an orphan boy. Joey is taken in by a rancher named Jim Newton, played by Peter Graves. On the ranch, Joey meets a wild horse named Fury, who becomes his best friend. The show was very popular and aired on NBC until 1960.
Other TV Shows and Movies
After Fury ended, Bobby Diamond appeared in many other TV shows. In 1965, he was a guest star on The Andy Griffith Show. He also had a regular role in the last season of The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis. In this show, he played Dobie's cousin, "Dunky."
Bobby was offered a role in the popular show My Three Sons. However, he chose to work on another show called Westinghouse Playhouse. This show starred Nanette Fabray, but it only lasted one season. My Three Sons went on for twelve seasons. Bobby was also considered for the role of Robin in the Batman TV series. But at 21 years old, he was thought to be too old for the part. The role went to Burt Ward instead.
He had one main role in a movie called Airborne in 1962. In this film, he played a young recruit. Even though the movie was liked, his acting career as an adult did not become very big. He had small parts in a few other movies, like Billie in 1965 and Scream in 1981.
Life After Acting
Bobby Diamond went to college at California State University, Northridge. There, he studied broadcast journalism. He was also a talented gymnast and competed on the rings. Later, he decided to study law at San Fernando Valley College of Law. He graduated in 1970 and started his own law practice. He worked as a lawyer for many years. Some of his clients included famous people like Kelsey Grammer.
Personal Life and Passing
In 1986, Bobby Diamond married Tara Parker. They met at a gym. They had two children together, but they later divorced.
Bobby Diamond passed away in 2019 at the age of 75. He died from cancer in Thousand Oaks, California.
